The Grassroot Resilience Ownership and Wellness (GROW) Fund is an initiative of the EdelGive Foundation which aims to sustainably strengthen 100 grassroots organisations in India. It provides organisational development support to selected small to medium-sized grassroots NGOs. These organisations play a critical role in creating a more equal and just society by working with some of the most marginalised communities. The community-based approach enables mobilisation at the grassroots level, empowering people to take action for their own well-being and claim their rights as citizens. Yet these organisations are under increasing pressure, in part due to the devastating impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The GROW Fund recognises the need for grassroots NGOs to become more resilient and sustainable in order to continue their important work.
